The works you see are sourced from reputed galleries and individual sellers. All works will come with an authenticity certificate from the gallery and/or artist for your peace of mind. You can request the details of the paintings before you make the final payment.
Payments are subject to VAT when bought from a gallery. Payment options are given below.
How to sell art
If you wish to sell a piece of art you have, please email us the image, provenance, medium, year of purchase and authenticity proof. We will review the work and advise you a price (if you have not specified a price). We can also display the image on our site with your consent. Fees for sale are competitive and transparent.
Refunds
All purchases are final. We will accept returned goods only when they are being processed for a refund due to shipping or handling damage. If a painting has been damaged during shipping please contact us at art@jvfinancial.com and we will process your case as expeditiously as possible. In the unlikely event of your receiving a damaged product, please do the following :
Make note of the damage on the courier's copy of the airway bill, and a copy of the airway bill, which you retain.
Also, appropriate remarks should be made on the delivery sheet (applicable) of the courier personnel making the delivery.
Please notify us directly within five days of receipt of the painting if there is damage along with the details of the damage.
Also send us images of the work with close ups of the damaged portion(s)
If you choose to undertake the custom clearance yourself or by a third party appointed by you then the paintings will be considered delivered not at the shipping address in your order details but at the customs location at the destination country. Also please make a note of the following
Your purchase will be considered delivered once the relevant documents for self clearance are handed over by our logistics carriers to you/your appointed agent.
The Seller is not responsible for the storage or damages to the painting(s) after the hand over of documents to you/your appointed broker and pending customs clearance.
The Seller not responsible for any delays caused during customs clearnace.
The Seller will not be liable for the condition of your purchase once they reach you after custom clearance.
This will help in processing claims in a timely manner. Please note that the Seller can insure the painting against damage, but does not insure the frames.
Payments in India
Demand Draft / Cheque :
You can select "Demand Draft/Cheque" as a mode of payment and place an order with us. Your order will be processed once we receive the Cheque/Demand Draft and the amount is credited to us. We will advise the name in which the payment should be made depending on whether the work you wish to purchase is from a gallery or individual seller.
Direct Wire Transfer
Details will be emailed to you once you place the order choosing to pay by a direct wire transfer.
Please Note: The product(s) you have ordered will be kept on hold, under your name, for 7 days during the payment processing time. Your order will be shipped once your payment has cleared
