Installation Instructions for ODIN Internet Trading Platform.
You need to have winzip installed on your computer to unzip and extract files. You can download winzip from www.download.com.
Odin will not work on windows 98. ODIN WILL NOT WORK BEHIND A FIREWALL UNLESS CERTAIN PORTS ARE OPENED, SO IF YOU ARE IN AN OFFICE IT MAY NOT WORK.
You need Windows XP, Vista or 2000.
If using Vista , you will need to disable USER ACCOUNT setting from Control Panel > USER ACCOUNTS > TURN USER ACCOUNT ON OR OFF. After this you will need to reboot and download and install the ODIN SOFTWARE.
PLEASE DOWNLOAD USING ODIN FIRST TIME FILE FOR USAGE INSTRUCTIONS.
Download the following files onto your C: or D: drive in any folder of your choice.
Unzip JV Capital.zip file
Double click on NCDEX application file
Press INSTALL and follow the instructions.
Press OK
Press FINISH
Double click on SCRIPFILE.zip
CAREFULLY Extract/unzip file to C: or D:\ ODIN\DIETCLIENT\MASTER Folder.

For Web Based Trading, all you need is access to the internet on your laptop or computer. Then follow the simple instructions below once you have been given your user id and password. Clients will be sent these by email directly from the NSE Server. Head office will not have this information for clients (only for demos).

STEPS TO RUN NOW WEB BASED TRADING
1) Open URL https://www.nowonline.in/ .
2) Click on Download Java for Windows IE.
3) Put Member ID 12759 .
4) Put User ID and Password.
5) Choose your own password.
6) Add market watch for offline rate and trade (last traded price)
7) For online rate and online trade click on Express in address bar (live
rates)
8) Add market watch and do trade in the live market. |
